of any study conducted in Britain …. there is a massive class divide between real coffee drinkers and instant and Tea drinkers ….. sure British coffee drinkers live longer, they're better off ?
I drink a lot of coffee even before i go to bed and do not have a problem with sleep
Let's complicate coffee.
Go carnivoire! Stop the fiber
I had to give up coffee altogether. Started giving me digestive issues and elevated my Anxiety drastically. Now I’m in love with green tea.
drink more tea and water, sometimes coffee is goodlll
I drink coffee because I like it, not anything to do with caffeine, or staying awake, some days I drink none of it, some days I drink a lot of it. If I drink too much I just feel weird, but I can drink it before bed and sleep just fine.
Greatly enjoyed James Hoffman's passionate chat on coffee, A rabbit hole that I got myself into. What a wonderful time it was, indeed, to listen to him. I grind my coffee in the morning and I drink it black. Glad to learn it's one of the better ways, flavor wise, to enjoy it. A nod to both guys.
It amazes me how the vast majority of the population can think consuming a psychoactive drug in large quantities for long periods of time can be anything except unhealthy! It is absolutely addictive and watching peoples behaviors clearly show everyone is going through withdrawals every single morning. When people are lining up down the block in front of coffee shops everywhere every single morning that's a massive problem. Chronic insomnia is a massive problem. Scientists still don't know the long term effects of taking an addictive drug for decades. Perhaps it's an Alzheimer's contributor who knows. I avoid everything except water and I sleep great, I feel fine in the morning. What's everyone's problem?
Cigarette suppress your appetite. They tend to have no trouble with weight control. Only benefit in smoking I can see.
I love that he addressed how wild it is that the caffeine content is drinks is rarely disclosed to us. It really should be. I developed a dependency on it for over a decade and only just recently committed to taking a long enough break from espresso and cold brews to get through the withdrawal headaches. I still have tea and decaf, and I've found that while I'm still recovering to get my full energy back, I am less anxious and more calm than I was when I was constantly wired. I want to drink coffee again, but I want more transparency in the caffeine content so I can make wise decisions about which drinks to consume.
Where do you buy the “best coffees in the world ?
yea but 69.
"mental health"
"Coffee"
"I fell in love with it[coffee] TWENTY YEARS AGO"
Big glasses

Looks very thin and dry and worn out
Is on one of the matrix hijacked channels and reaching a wide audience
Oh yeah you'll learn a lot from this dude…
I dont need to subscribe because for some reason 80% of my feed is already your video's
I live in Egypt and the best coffee I have found is from the Brazillian Coffee Roasters. It is not bitter but a tiny bit dark. I buy the beans and grind my own and brew it in a French press, and after trial and error, I am happy. I am from Seattle, and there is some of the best coffee around there, so it took me awhile to get it right for me. I consider the first sip of my morning coffee to be the finest moment of my day. OK, so I am a simple person but the best moments in life are simple. I would like to ask James if he has ever tasted the yellow coffee from Saudia Arabia. Completely different than what we are used to. The rule is that you should drink no more than two tiny cups of it or you might be up for three days. LOL
I don’t subscribe to very many channels because l get fed up with notifications about new videos and most of all it takes up space on my device if l load up too many subscriptions. It shortens battery life.
What a great subject, great guest. I toured a coffee farm in Guatemala a few years ago and I fell in love with the whole story of coffee.
PS. It was almost impossible to get a good cup of coffee on the street as they exported most of it. The locals drank instant coffee.
Your intro ruined my desire to watch…
Coffee shops are charging $25-$35 for 200 to 250g of beans. Way too much.
The fiber thing makes sense because I often poop after my morning cup of coffee
Why does he look so fucked up in the thumbnail?
coffee's modern range of flavor is insane.
CAN YOU GUARANTEE US?
I suffer of depression. Caffeine.and testosterone revolutionized my life.
i thoroughly delight in one turkish coffee mid to late morning daily. my most favorite time of day.
@jameshoffmann going to be in London—any coffee shop recommendations?

I drink coffee before bed and sleep just fine

I drink coffee like crazy each day: I'll be immortal then…
>Building trust, because down the line we can talk about something different and you'll listen (51:22)
Like what? What politician to vote? Or why should I inject myself with experimental modified rna technology? Or why it is my fault that the sun is getting hotter?
Um, no thank you. Stay in your lane. Enough with the shills on social media. ENOUGH.
So what's new? We've been lied to about everything!
1:38 sorry, where keeping it at 69%
Do you want to know WHY some people can sleep well even after drinking a cup of coffee? Here is the answer..A person having infection/ inflammation or more sugar in body can sleep even after having a large cup of coffee. At the end cycle of taking antibiotic medication dose, caffeine acts highest in damaging your sleep. In simp,e ways.. there are two opposites … Dopamine and serotonin. Caffeine increases dopamine.. sleep is related to serotonin.. every person has unique blend-mixture-proportion of these two important neurochemicals. Dopamine is pleasure-tends to drive us towards materialistic. Serotonin drive us towards spiritual kind of .. side..balance is required. Dark roasted beans are related to cancer, not light roasted..
Coffee causes Magnesium and Calcium defficiency!
Ethiopian coffee is the best ❤
James is so great! His enthusiasm is contagious
I think drinking coffee is okay because there's a drinking culture (in Australia anyway) of having a coffee and a cake in a cafe while talking and catching up. The real problem is the highly caffeinated energy drinks that kids are drinking.
Love all of your interviews❤❤
Armenians introduced coffee in the Ottoman Empire. Turks were not allowed to drink coffee for it was Haram “ against Muslim tradition”. Armenians and Greeks being Christian drank the beverage at gatherings and private events throughout the empire.
El café es mejor echo en casa de nuestra propia finca aquí en Puerto Rico crece en nuestro patio 🤣👍
BTW when hearing the bit about reduced blood flow to the brain I looked it up. Not at all clear, studies have shown mixed results, and while the mechanisms (vasoconstriction) could imply this – that's not the same as saying there's evidence of it. I'd consider it unproven for now until there's meaningful studies demonstrating the result
Came here for Hoffman. But interviewer is annoying with approach and questions. What a patient person James is
I can drink two expressos before sleep and I sleep like baby.
There is no fiber in coffee… maybe Turkish coffee since you drive the beans.
bro really went from interviewing legit influential legends and CEO's, to interviewing sex therapists and coffee 'experts' LMFAO
