All of this resonates with me and I genuinely appreciate what you all said on it. Thank you for this.
I was arrested while working as a first responder in Nicaragua, I refused to pay some bribes…It did not end well, I'm lucky to be home. Nowadays I utilize a service dog to help me cope, thank you for this episode guys 07
Thanks Guys!!! Your the "Best!!"
Thank you so much C.W. for such a heartfelt Mental Health Minute, I really appreciate all you, Gonky and WOMBAT put into helping others, Polly!
Excellent topic.
It ain’t weak to speak.
You all need to look into Schriever SFB. Capital of the Military/Intel Industrial Complex. Run by a 27(?) Year old AI? Underground, control of all the satellites and distributed infrastructure (Cell towers), all the contractors, and Directed Energy / Weapons of Frequency.
Also matches the 4th beast of Revelation 13-18 😁
Check the first 15 years of Dr Alan Frey's research (1962-1977). This is the primary cause of 'suicide' of Veterans.
That was outstanding. The podcast is great and all but the MHM is truely amazing. You three aren't just helping the veterans, but also
everyday Joes like me and I appreciate it so much.
Very cool program. You were right up in my neck of the woods. My son was in high school / JROTC with LtCol Deep's son, and we visited LtCol Deep's Marine Corps aviation unit on a base visit to Robins AFB. If/when you're back up this way, would love to buy you a beer/lunch
As always ..❤.each Mental Health Minute is so impacted! WOMBAT, your sharing of experiences did bring 😢 yet is so memorable. I am starting to connect with a Peer program that reaches out to Veterans. Hopefully on staff eventually bit volunteer is fine as well. I will share with them the information about Wake for Warriors.
The anecdote shared about the Blind-Warrior and his Dog is beautiful and touching.
I love the way Lunar comes in and sits with Mover when things start effecting him
I was a Chicago Police Officer for 23 years. Over that time period 6 people I knew personally killed themselves. The last one was 2 months ago, 30 years on the job, was only 56 years old, just retired last June. I spent 5 hours with him the day before and never saw it coming. I appreciate everything you guys do to bring attention to this issue. Hopefully the powers that be can direct more resources to do something about this problem. Although Wombat is absolutely right, once their done with you most of them could care less. It's up to the friends and people around them to try to get them to realize that when you end your own life you only spread the pain around to those who actually care about you.
Wombat you are the man!
The FAA would rather pilots be alcoholics than report mental health causes for there own sake. If pilots report, BOOM medical taken away. Don’t report and drink your sorrows of loneliness, totally A OK with the FAA. Same in the Military. It’s a tough world to live in when your passion is to fly
If y’all never seen the movie, Man’s best friend y’all should watch it, Like y’all’s videos from central Florida!
Great editing, Mover. Love the content, love the b-roll. … Way to go, all of you, on getting this message out there! We are not alone! ❤
Thanks Mover
I was told at at young age that asking for help shows the strength of your character!
Be strong, ask for help, get stronger, ask for help .. and one day you will be the one helping.
Thanks Wombat, as someone who served I know that all of us has lost a brother or a sister, I’ve been there several years ago and lately one of my very close closest shipmates who killed himself when he was the one who talked me down one night. There’s always someone there for you and to all of Mover and Gonky I really appreciate you guys for all your love in your hearts you make a difference.
As a psychology student , I believe if marijuana was allowed in the military, we would be on top of the game x10
To say these segments are impactful is an understatement, thanks for speaking on these subjects based around the tough times you or those close to you have experienced. Humans are social by nature, we all need each other. Thanks again yall
"Vets got to be helping vets.", a matter I have believe for decades .
Mover, thanks for posting this .
Wombat , thank for discussing your own experiences .
Gonky, thank you for the great advice and wisdom there.
Thank you for this guys. Thank you.
Dammit WOMBAT, am not, you are! Srsly bro, huge respect for you and what you're doing.
Thank you guys.
I've recently had a mental health epiphany where I've finally admitted to myself that I haven't been so well in ages. I have arrived at being diagnosed with ADHD, PTSD and recently Anxiety following a recent incident. My anxiety is now managed by tablets but I don't know what is the cause of my PTSD. I've served as a police officer for 22 years in London, UK and have had a couple of near-death accidents since age of 8. I'll get through this all, but I wish that I hadn't hidden how I feel for over 40 years. 🙁
You sound like you’re about to cry, I hope you’re okay. 😟
I've not served, nor has anyone I know served but your comments and stories about mental trauma rings true for me.
My trauma, and the people around me who have and are suffering from trauma – whilst it's not based on armed forces trauma, it's based on family trauma – it still rings true, it sounds and feels the same – the impacts, the outcomes.
Hearing people like you, Gonky and Wombat, big fighter pilot guys, talk about this, about the trauma, about how to handle it, just brings it home.
Thank you for making it feel real. It feel… ok.
