Oh how frustrating for you 🙁 I'm glad you are doing research and looking into what you can do while you wait for the ortho appointment, that's empowering. I would love to see what you come up with for ways to stay active that are easy on the feet. I have arthritis in my feet and sometimes it's too painful to walk, but other times I'm okay. I am going to do the August FB challenge, I printed out my calendar and I'm looking forward to it!
Hey Christelle, don’t beat yourself up. We all want to trust the medical advice given by our doctors. Now that you know it’s a fracture that won’t likely heal without surgery, then have surgery. At least go and talk to an ortho doc. Get h/her opinion. It will only add to your knowledge and information to make a better decision. Lastly, you don’t need to apologize for a thing. Even hurt you finished the walking challenge. You are a stronger woman than you know. ❤
Deep Water Workout works great. Non-weight bearing completely, offered close to you. QUIT being so HARD on yourself. Such a frustrating process. Self compassion is needed for yourself. Big hugs.

I just found your channel today, so I'm sorry to walk in when you're experiencing such a challenge but don't give up! We changed our diet to an anti-inflammatory whole food diet and it has literally started to change our lives. I couldn't even walk more than 5 minutes at a time when I started. If that's something you would be interested in trying, it may be helpful with your healing. It's healing damage to my thyroid and I thought for 17 years that it couldn't heal. Hey I hope you’re doing better! I broke that same bone last year and it brought me down so bad. I don’t have one leg and I break my good leg while I was trying to lose weight. I couldn’t wear my prosthetic leg and I felt like a failure. I knew I had to do SOMETHING cause I was falling into a depression. What I did is look for upper body exercises and I did other hobbies. Please don’t give up and I wish you a speedy recovery ❤️🩹 also, for me the doctors were thinking about surgery but they didn’t end up doing cause it was going to take the same time it completely heal without it. It took about 4 months to heal. You will have days when you’ll get frustrated but be gentler with yourself on those days 🤍
