Simple things made too complicated. A $30 g-shock or timex will do and wearing a dress you just take it off.
A Dreyfuss quartz tank or Rotary Les Originales automatic tank on leather deployant clasps just make me feel more complete, assured, mature. Not everyone can afford the premium brand watches highlighted in this presentation. Better that we each appreciate whichever watch, or watches, we choose to have for our use. There are any number of great watches out there for comparatively little money. We should all enjoy our own choices with equal validity.
"going out to the Opera"
The great man W Churchill had the same thing with hats. If he wanted to present himself differently or a different "side" to himself he'd wear a different hat.
As adhd person, a watch really helps. Received my first one from polo at 12 years old, functioning for 14 years.
Quality content ❤
Mine gussl The new watch is great! I've praised its realism many times. I really recommend checking out their selection.
when I walk into a conference room and I see a fancy watch, I roll my eyes. I'm judging their poor financial decisions.
Anything you wear, thats why cultural outfits have weapons (mostly cane). So put on a luxury pistol instead.
To people like me it signals stupidity.
Because we all have clocks in our phones. It's a useless accesorie and that signals insecurity, a need to stand out or signal wealth which in turn signals ignorance or low intelligence. Truly smart people dont conform to these ideas. Only people that have that need of signaling to others use them. Thats lame.
But of course, to each their own. This is just my opinion and maybe the one of others.
Now I get it why my husband wears an old Rolex GMT master.
for me, it's always when someone suddenly tells me; "I like your watch." While I have completely forgotten about its presence on my wrist. 😊 Whenever i get these compliments , it makes me feel like it's worth my time spending my entire day just to find that particular watch which suits my style
i like how he says about matching watches with what u dress up in, but in Singapore, 90% of Singaporean guys only wear T-shirts and trousers 🤣🤣 unless there's special days or festivals
Currently wearing a 1998 Seamaster which my Dad bought for his 50th and later gave me.
Narcissists are the easiest people in the world to sell to. You just have to play to their pathological insecurities which is exactly what this presenter does.
The guy in this video is the best sales man I've seen in years.
Nixon is amazing
I consider myself a conservative person but… I'm a lot happier with my Garmin, lots of technology and still great design
A watch is to show "who you are, who you want to be, and who you want to be perceived as"
yeah so it's just a tool for portrayal.
What you want others to think of you as. Anything but tell the damn time!
Personally, I'd rather be more interesting than my watch, before I'd wish to let my watch speak for me.
Present generation are out of habit of wearing wrist watch. Smart phones have replaced it. A watch does never reflect personality.
I wear my G-shock when I swim laps at the Aquatic center and it makes me happy because i do not go over my 1 hour lane time. Im not a jewelry guy so a shiny watch is not really of interest to me.
Don't know much about watches but that shirt collar looks like crap and makes you look like a villain
wearing a cheap watch makes you remember that you're poor
Wearing a watch is to know the time evrytime
Hey, I love watches. Besides, I learn English by watching and listening this video. I love the pronunciation you made. Thanks.
People can say whatever tf they want, i love wearing a watch bcuz i have OCD with time and it brings me a feeling of satisfaction and safety. Mechanical watches are art and romance.
And i do have adhd so a watch really helps people like us as one comment stated…
Casio ae1200whd makes me feel like an assassin like James bond 😂
With a solar powered, water proof, radio-controlled G-Shock, I always feel like an elite soldier, while a nice classic dress watch makes me feel like a beautiful gentleman.
Working as a cook i got used to G shocks all the time at work and outside work 'my brother works in office and he has more fansy waches i agree a watch tells alot about the person who has it.
