The YouGov ballot of two,060 adults – 1,132 of whom had been employees – discovered 35% had skilled excessive or excessive ranges of strain at work, with 20% requiring day off because of poor psychological well being attributable to stress previously 12 months.
Psychological Well being UK’s chief government, Brian Dow, warned the UK was “quickly turning into a burnt-out nation” with a “worrying variety of individuals” taking day off because of poor psychological well being attributable to stress.
